Steck Extended Clip Release Tool

Accessing the door panel clips when removing the door panel can be a challenge, especially due to their depth. Made in the USA, the extended clip release tool is laser cut from 1/8" hot rolled steel with a beveled end. Unique design, the tool is 18 inches long, which allows two-way access to grip under the clips that lay deep into the door panel. Using a 6" large handle beveled end allows the technician to twist and lift the clips from the inside door panel. The beveled end also offers the ability to release plastic covers for Ford truck rails using the same twist movement, saving replacement rail cover costs. The extended clip release tool saves technician time up to 1 minute, allowing access to grip clips that aren't easily accessible with traditional levers, while saving the cost of possibly breaking the clip.

• How It Works Step 1: Slide tool between molding and panel positioning the opening of the release tool over the first retainer clip stem
• How It Works Step 2: Slide the tool back and forth over the expansion ears of retainer clip in order to compress the ears and release the retainer clip
