Meatballs with Rice and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 g (1 lb) minced meat from (lamb or beef)
  • 1 cup cooked rice Arosis
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato sauce Kyknos
  • 1/4 cup olive oil Theo
  • Salt Astarti and pepper Batavia

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with the cooked rice, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil and fry the meatballs until browned.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato sauce, and cook for 20 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
